Two very special directors – CHRISTIAN TUREAUD and DAVID SALZBERG – have teamed up with lauded news reporter ALEX QUADE for the riveting documentary DANGER CLOSE.  Two-time Edward R. Murrow Award-winning Quade embeds with special ops in Iraq and Afghanistan and takes us on a journey not only inside special ops, but one that honors one soldier who meant so much to so many at home and on the battlefield. It is an honor to have both Christian and David on BTL. It is impossible not to be moved by what they do as producers and directors, and the mission they have with each project honoring our military heroes. The journey from idea to completed film is a long one, but a rewarding one, as you can hear in their voices as they talk about DANGER CLOSE.

Rounding out the show is JOHN SHEA.  While known to most as Lex Luthor in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”, along with decades of other memorable performances, it is a thrill to have JOHN SHEA join us in the capacity of writer/director for the new thriller GREY LADY. Listen as John talks about his own journey from writing the film through actual production, including the cinematography, editing, the local townspeople who are an integral part of the film, and of course, his cast, starting with his leading man, ERIC DANE. Die-hard fans of Dane, be they from “Grey’s Anatomy” or “The Last Ship“, will more than appreciate what John has to say about Eric Dane, believing his role in GREY LADY is the one that makes Dane stand out as “a movie star.” And the love and admiration doesn’t stop with Eric Dane, it flows for the entire cast, among them, Adrian Lester, Amy Madigan, Natalie Zea and Rebecca Gayheart.
