After this morning’s Film Independent 30th Spirit Awards Nominations announcements by Rosario Dawson and Diego Luna, I had a chance to chat with Rosario Dawson on the the red carpet. Dawson has had a busy year in independent films, including the acclaimed “Cesar Chavez” directed by her co-presenter this morning, Diego Luna, and Robert Rodriguez’ “Sin City 2: A Dame to Fill For” in which Dawson reprised her action-packed role of “Gail”.
The Spirit Awards will be held once again in a tent on the beach in Santa Monica on February 21, 2015. This year the show will, for the first time, broadcast LIVE exclusively on IFC at 2:00 PM PT/5:00 PM ET.a
