And the nominations are out for the 22nd SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS! Announced this morning by Anna Faris and Anthony Mackie , there are some head-scratching surprises to be sure, most notably, the absence of Sylvester Stallone’s name in a supporting category, not to mention the placement of “Grace of Monaco” in the television programming category as a mini-series or telemovie, for which Nicole Kidman picked up a nomination. One nomination that should have moviegoers and fellow thespians alike smiling is that of young Jacob Tremblay for his performance in “Room.” Winners are determined by the 165,000 member voting body of the SAG-AFTRA union. Carol Burnett will be the SAG Life Achievement Award honoree. The SAG Awards will be held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 30, 2016.
