MAYA FORBES & WALLY WOLODARSKY dig into all the good stuff talking THE GOOD HOUSE – Exclusive Interview

Co-writers and co-directors MAYA FORBES and WALLY WOLODARSKY give us the goods on THE GOOD HOUSE in this exclusive interview.

Already proving themselves to be gifted filmmakers thanks to films like “Infinitely Polar Bear” which marked Maya’s directorial debut, and their co-writing and co-directing of “The Polka King”, as well as co-writing “Seeing Other People” with Wally directing, “Monsters vs Aliens”, “Trolls”, “Trolls 2” and the beloved “A Dog’s Purpose” and “A Dog’s Journey”, the duo were also writers on the heavy-hitting Emmy-winning limited series “The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story.”   They also each cut their chops in television with Wally writing for “The Tracey Ullman Show and writing/producing “The Simpsons” while Maya wrote and produced for HBO’s “The Larry Sanders Show”.

Directed by Maya and Wally and co-written by them along with Thomas Bezucha, they now adapt for the big screen, Ann Leary’s best-selling novel, THE GOOD HOUSE, and reunite Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline who star along with an ensemble that includes Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, David Rasche, Rebecca Henderson, Molly Brown, Kathryn Erbe, Kelly AuCoin, Paul Guilfoyle, and Beverly D’Angelo.

SYNOPSIS:  “THE GOOD HOUSE is the story of Hildy Good (Weaver), a sharp, funny businesswoman in her 60s who is fighting to stay relevant while on a collision course with herself. It is about denial, drinking, and getting a second chance at life and love.”
