Entrusted by book author Suzanne Collins to see the vision of Collins’ printed words take shape on the silver screen and to honor the legions fans already devoted to the tales and trials of Katniss Everdeen, Jacobson has done so with care and personal affection for the source material few other producers could or would do in this business of filmmaking.
It has been a privilege to speak with Nina Jacobson over the past five years, starting with THE HUNGER GAMES, and thereafter with each subsequent film, tapping into her mindset and producing acumen as Panem and Katniss’s story grew.
