She’s back, people! A living legend of stage and screen, CAROLE COOK, is back with us LIVE talking about the 32nd annual STAGE LA benefit, among other tidbits of Hollywood history (Lucy, Desi, Robert Osborne – oh my!!) !! Now in its 32nd year, STAGE LA is the longest-running annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the world. Started in 1984, to date, STAGE has raised more than $5 million for HIV/AIDS organizations in the Southland. David Galligan has staged and directed all 32 productions. This year’s theme is SONDHEIM No. 5 saluting the music of Stephen Sondheim and boasts a cast of legends along with Carole, who gives BEHIND THE LENS listeners and viewers a heads up on her performance – “I’m Still Here.” One listen and you’ll agree, yes she is.
And first time feature filmmaker Jody McVeigh-Schultz is talking his feature ECHO LAKE which finds its way to VOD after a successful run on the festival circuit. Showing us the “humanity of imperfection”, ECHO LAKE is quiet poignant beauty with a beautiful cinematic finish. A “Must See”!
