Featuring special guests: Michael Snyder, Ben Mehlman, Lynn Cohen and Josh Burrow.
It’s all about time – and timing – with some very special guests on this week’s BEHIND THE LENS.
In studio for the full hour is the Culture Blaster himself, MICHAEL SNYDER, who not only adds another layer of interest to cinematic discussions, but talks about his latest project, THE BARRY & RO SHOW, of which he is writer and co-creator. Some interesting inside info from Michael on “the making of” this little film that just keeps on going. Plus, a Nicole Kidman anecdote never before heard.
And we’re taking another look at I BLAME MONTY HALL, this time with writer/director BEN MEHLMAN who talks about the importance of his below-the-line team on any project (in this case, especially his cinematographer Julia Swain and composer Ian Rees). Some terrific food for thought for filmmakers.
A real privilege and treat are our two guests who pop up midway into the show – acclaimed actress LYNN COHEN, best known for her performance as Golda Meir in Steven Spielberg’s “Munich”, as well as her work in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, “Sex In The City”, and her award-winning turn in “Hello Lonesome”; and, JOSH BURROW who brings not only a wealth of experience to the table on stage and screen, but is probably best known for as “Captain Morgan”, spokesperson for Captain Morgan Rum. Lynn and Josh both star in the indie gem ALL IN TIME and while we talk about that film (and how to pronounce Wilkes Barre), fascinating are not only the careers of both Lynn and Josh, but their individual experiences, the similarities between the two and their approaches to performance. You’ll enjoy hearing Lynn talk about working with Steven Spielberg and Woody Allen, plus how Josh embodies Captain Morgan, not to mention his role in ALL IN TIME playing a musician.
