Then writer/director FABIEN DUFILS is onboard to talk about his fascinating sci-fi psychological thriller IMPLANTED, the story of a woman who has a nanochip with artificial intelligence implanted in her body designed to aid in the body’s well being and prevention of illness and disease. But what happens when the AI takes over control of the body and sends her host on a murderous spree? Listen as Fabien goes in-depth about the genesis of the story and the actual science behind it, using visuals and sound to take us “inside” Sarah’s head, casting and working with Michelle Girolami who plays Sarah, cinematography and the conscious design of ECUs, shooting in New York and Paris, color, using the cinematographic tools to show state of mind and emotional contrast, and more.
