What a blast on this week’s BEHIND THE LENS as we rock in May with a ride on the LA RIVER; LA RIVER music, that is.
Live in-studio are L.A. RIVER band members Marcus Pierce, Nicholas Krall and Adam Lieberthal, while on the phone are Chas Litman and James Avgeris. With their music described as having a country-rock vibe with “thought-provoking lyrics, tight musical jams, and ethereal harmonies”, take a listen to not only the boys talking music and the history of L.A. RIVER, but hear the music! Yep, we’ve got three of their songs peppered throughout the show that you’re gonna love. Trust me when I say that one listen to the boys and their music and you’ll be clamoring for more. Never fear as they’ve got an album being released this summer and Marcus gives us the timeline for that. And hear about their gig this past weekend at the Motion Picture Television Fund. TCM Classic Film Fest may have been happening in Hollywood, but L.A. RIVER was performing for some of those very luminaries I and others were watching miles away on the silver screen. A chemistry and camaraderie that is fun and refreshing, you’re gonna love ’em!
