This week on BEHIND THE LENS it’s all about communication and connection thanks to our special guests, GREG KAPPY and MALCOM CARTER.
First up is Greg Kappy. Former filmmaker, Greg now teaches English as a second language and is gearing up for ENGLISH POWER ZONE, an immersive one day workshop on December 3rd which is open to all. In this ever changing world and the speed at which knowledge is unfolding on a global level, being competitive and connected is more important than ever. Take a listen as we talk not only about his upcoming workshop and the importance of communication and communication skills, but also his 2012 documentary “Shooting for Home” and it’s place in the world today.
At the half hour mark, we’re really get connected with THE CONNECTED UNIVERSE and director Malcom Carter. One of the most fascinating and intelligent documentaries to come around in a long time, Malcom takes us into the world of connectivity – and sadly, disconnectivity – broken down into science, math and quantum physics and the work of Nassim Haramein. I hope you’re as enthralled listening to Malcom as I was speaking with him about the philosophies and theories discussed within the film, as well as his directorial approach with cinematography, editing and score. A “humanitarian filmmaker” if ever there was, by the end of the show, you’ll find yourself agreeing, The Force is strong with Malcom Carter.
