Move over James Bond! Harry Pearce, Will Holloway and the folks at MI-5 are the big game in town!
Bringing the hugely successful and popular UK TV show “MI-5” that ran from 2006 to 2011 to the big screen, MI-5 (aka “Spooks: The Greater Good”) is a non-stop, high octane adrenaline ride filled with intrigue, terrorism, rogue agents and, of course, some super duper counter-terrorism agents with their own secrets and agendas in the form of Harry Pearce [Peter Firth] and Will Holloway [Kit Harington].
Directed by MI-5 series director Bharat Nalluri, Peter Firth reprises his role as Harry Pearce, now a suspect in an MI-5 leak which led to a high-level terrorist target escaping custody before being handed over to the CIA. With a terrorist on the loose and Pearce disappearing shortly thereafter, suspicions run high as to Pearce’s involvement nd MI-5 calls on ex-agent and Pearce’s former protege Will Holloway to find Pearce and the terrorist. But is Harry Pearce really the leak they seek? Or is it someone higher up in MI-5? At stake is the prevention of mass bombings across London.
Joining Firth and Harington is Tim McInnerny, who also reprises his series role as MI-5 Director Mace, along with franchise newcomers, Jennifer Ehle, Lara Pulver, Eleanor Matsuura, Elliot Levey and Elyes Gabel.
MI-5 opens in theatres in limited release and On Demand on December 4, 2015.
Available now exclusively on DirecTV.
