History blazes to life in Netflix’s THE SIEGE OF JADOTVILLE! Check out the trailer now!

THE SIEGE OF JADOTVILLE tells the true story of the 1961 siege of a 150-member Irish U.N. battalion under Commander Patrick Quinlan by 3,000 Congolese troops, led by French and Belgian mercenaries working for mining companies. Jamie Dornan plays the Irish commander Patrick Quinlan while Guillaume Canet plays a French commander Falques who sought to defeat Quinlan and his men.

Based on the novel “The Siege at Jadotville: The Irish Army’s Forgotten Battle” by Declan Power,  THE SIEGE OF JADOTVILLE is written by Kevin Brodbin and marks the feature directorial debut of Richie Smyth.  In addition to Dornan and Canet, the film stars Jason O’Mara, Mikael Persbrandt, Emmanuelle Seigner and Mark Strong.
