LABYRINTH OF LIES will lead you through the maze of the Frankfurt Trials and post-WWII Germany. A “Must See” film, check out the trailer now!

A compelling and riveting piece of filmmaking that takes us inside a little known chapter in world history – The Frankfurt Trials.   Set in a post WWII 1958 Frankfurt, Germany, LABYRINTH OF LIES takes us through the maze of legality and history that led to the trials of some of the SS who served in Auschwitz.  Marking the first time that Germany put itself on trial for the atrocities committed during the war, director Giulio Ricciarelli and screenwriter Elisabeth Bartel bring history to life with a well crafted and intelligent narrative feature that indelibly sears the conscience and the heart.

With a mix of amalgamated fictional characters and real life individuals who populated the time and the trials, LABYRINTH OF LIES boasts stellar performances from Alexander Fehling  as young prosecutor Johann Radmann (a blend of three real individuals prosecuting the trials) and most notably, the legendary Gert Voss in what would prove to be his final performance, as head prosecutor and former concentration camp detainee, Fritz Bauer.  (Bauer was instrumental in opening the eyes of Germany to the truth of the peoples’ past.)  Andre Szymanski is the embodiment of real life investigative reporter and journalist of the day, Thomas Gneilka, while Johannes Krisch rips you apart with his pain and makes former detainee Simon Kirsch the very definition of a tortured artist.
