Sir Ben Kingsley Joins the Cast of THE JUNGLE BOOK

SIR BEN KINGSLEY JOINS THE CAST OF “THE JUNGLE BOOK”

sir benAcademy Award-winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley has been cast as the voice of “Bagheera” in Disney’s upcoming THE JUNGLE BOOK. Described by author Rudyard Kipling in his book of the same name on which the film is based, as being “as cunning as Tabaqui, as bold as the wild buffalo, and as reckless as the wounded elephant. But he had a voice as soft as wild honey dripping from a tree, and a skin softer than down”, Kingsley is the perfect casting choice for the sleek black panther.

Joining Kingsley in the ever-increasing star-studded cast is fellow Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o as the mother wolf “Rakcha”, Scarlett Johansson as “Kaa” the python and Idris Elba as the menacing tiger, Shere Khan.
