Dream Sharks and Crab Sharks and Man Sharks, Oh My!
Director Mark Polonia and his crazy cast of characters keep the cinematic waters flowing this summer with sharks, sharks, and more sharks thanks to his latest film, COCAINE SHARK. Check out the first trailer now!
Capitalizing on the success of “Cocaine Bear” with the film’s title, although there is no cocaine involved here and sharks aren’t quite as cute as bears, there are still plenty of illegal substances, including the highly addictive stimulant HT25 made from sharks, scientific experiments, low-level Mafioso drug-running, and madcap madness, all feeding into the ridiculous fun of the COCAINE SHARK frenzy.
SYNOPSIS: A mafia drug lord has unleashed a new, highly addictive stimulant on the streets called HT25, derived from sharks held captive in a secret lab, and which causes monstrous side effects. After an explosion and leak at the lab, an army of mutated, bloodthirsty sharks and other creatures are set loose on the world as a small band of people try to stop the carnage.
Under the campy and fun directorial eye of Polonia, with a script by Bruno Glutz, COCAINE SHARK makes the most with some of Polonia’s very recognizable faces including, Titus Himmelberger, Natalie Himmelberger, Ken Van Sant, Ryan Dalton, and two of my fave Polonia regulars, Kyle Rappaport and Jeff Kirkendall, along with a slew of unforgettable creature creations!
