Summit Entertainment has announced August 21, 2015 as the release for the highly anticipated action-crime thriller CRIMINAL.
Starring Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Reynolds and Gary Oldman, CRIMINAL is the story of a highly volatile and dangerous criminal into whom the memories and skills of a deceased CIA agent are implanted. A cat and mouse game ensues with the “criminal” tasked to find other criminals and complete the deceased agent’s assignments.
Principal photography began on September 4, 2014, in London. Various locations thus far include, Camber Sands in East Sussex, King’s Road in Kingston, Yateley, Blackbushe Airport, White Row, as well as croydon College and SOAS University of London Library. Onlookers have already reported filming of “spectacular” car crashes and helicopter chase sequences.
Directed by Ariel Vromen from a script by Douglas Cook and David Weisberg, CRIMINAL is produced by Campbell-Grobman Films and Millennium Films.
