As the clock ticks down to the final battle for the boy with the scar on his forehead who once lived under the cupboard, we are all filled with special memories of the magic and wonder of the HARRY POTTER movies. I\u2019ve had a chance to talk with some of our favorite players in the storied and stellar franchise to get their final thoughts on the wizarding world of Harry Potter.<\/p>\n

One of the most fun characters in the franchise, intrepid reporter Rita Skeeter, was brought to life and laughter by the incomparable Miranda Richardson. While speaking with Miranda about narrating her latest project, the documentary TURTLE: THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY, it didn\u2019t take long for us to wind away around to some chit chat on the world of Harry Potter.<\/p>\n

I know you\u2019re not part of the finale, but do you have any final thoughts on the closure of HARRY POTTER..even though they left you out of DEATHLY HALLOWS, Part 2 [laughing]?<\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s a great thing to be part of. I do. Truly. I think it\u2019s something that\u2019s gonna last even though special effects move on at pace. I think that the storytelling, which is the prime importance, is pretty great during that franchise. I think there\u2019s a back and forth that happens. The kids don\u2019t just see the movie. They do read the books. It doesn\u2019t matter if they read them before or after. There\u2019s a wish and a will to get involved in that world, which is great. I know that the stories have a lot detractors, but she [Rowling] got people reading again in a mass way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"miranda<\/p>\n

As for HARRY POTTER\u2019s young stars who have grown up before our eyes, Richardson has nothing but praise.<\/p>\n

They do seem very grounded. It\u2019s great. I think they have a great sense of humor. I don\u2019t think they\u2019ll get lost [in the madness of Hollywood]. I think they have a very strong work ethic. I don\u2019t know whether they will all stay in the business. I can\u2019t tell with Emma whether she will want to move on and diversify. I think the other two will stick with it as long as it sticks with them. Daniel\u2019s hoofing away on Broadway right now. Good for him! He\u2019s really showing that he\u2019s willing to try anything. It must give you a tremendous confidence boost having practiced, literally, for so long. Worlds are open to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n
