And how did Olaf learn to love Summer?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The previously untold origins of Olaf, the innocent and insightful, summer-loving snowman who melted hearts in the Academy Award\u00ae-winning 2013 Disney animated feature,\u00a0Frozen,<\/i>\u00a0and its acclaimed 2019 sequel, are revealed in the all-new Walt Disney Animation Studios animated short,\u00a0Once Upon a Snowman<\/i>. The film follows Olaf\u2019s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.<\/p>\n Once Upon a Snowman<\/i>\u00a0is directed by\u00a0Trent\u00a0Correy (animation supervisor, \u201cOlaf\u201d in\u00a0Frozen 2<\/i>) and Dan Abraham (veteran story artist who boarded Olaf\u2019s \u201cWhen I Am Older\u201d musical sequence in\u00a0Frozen 2<\/i>) and produced by Nicole Hearon (associate producer \u201cFrozen 2\u201d and \u201cMoana\u201d) with Peter Del Vecho (producer, \u201cFrozen 2,\u201d \u201cFrozen\u201d and the upcoming \u201cRaya and the Last Dragon\u201d).
