Tribeca Enterprises, in partnership with DoorDash and R\u00e9my Martin, announced the return of the\u00a0<\/span>Tribeca Drive-In<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>series, combining the power of the movies with the majesty of the Rose Bowl Stadium. Featuring an exciting specially curated slate of new and classic films, the limited-engagement series will provide audiences with a memorable experience that\u2019s sure to captivate audiences of all ages. The Tribeca Drive-In screening events, which will be the only drive-in experience coming to the Los Angeles area, will take place on the weekends between July 28-August 26, 2021 at the Rose Bowl Stadium<\/strong> in Pasadena, CA. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A signature series for Tribeca, drive-ins have been a part of the festival\u2019s programming since its inception 20 years ago. Tapping into the nostalgia of the traditional drive-in experience, this year\u2019s schedule will feature a robust lineup of films including: 2021 Tribeca Festival encore screenings, classic films, family matinees, short films, plus special sneak preview of a new film yet to hit theaters!\u00a0 Audiences can purchase tickets now at\u00a0<\/span>TribecaFilm.com<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tribeca Drive-In program has always been a beloved staple of the Tribeca Festival and after last year\u2019s wildly enthusiastic reception, we\u2019re thrilled to return to the iconic Rose Bowl,\u201d said Jane Rosenthal, Tribeca Enterprises and the Tribeca Festival Co-Founder & CEO. \u201cSince its beginnings, this wonderful series has shown a unique ability to transport audiences to those magical summers when movies were experienced outdoors and on the big screen.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening weekend will feature screenings of acclaimed films celebrating milestone anniversaries including the 20th anniversary of\u00a0<\/span>The Royal Tenenbaums<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>and the 25th anniversary of\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Fargo<\/i>. These anniversaries were also commemorated at this year\u2019s Tribeca Festival, and those attending\u00a0<\/span>The Royal Tenenbaums\u00a0<\/span><\/i>screening will have the opportunity to see footage of a cast reunion conversation that took place at the Festival.<\/p>\n

The series will also spotlight the illustrious career of the late Robin Williams with some of his most memorable films including\u00a0<\/span>Hook<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Good Will Hunting<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>for which he earned the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1998.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Families can enjoy several films including\u00a0<\/span>The Princess Diaries,<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and\u00a0<\/span>Moana<\/i>, celebrating its 5th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Audiences can also enjoy a special preview of Amazon Prime Video\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Everybody\u2019s Talking About Jamie\u00a0<\/span><\/i>ahead of the film\u2019s official premieres,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>mark the end of the 2021 Olympics with Go Big, a collection of short films that highlight athletic risks, rewards, and resilience, and celebrate the final weekend of the series with a collection of films that capture the power of music.<\/p>\n
