{"id":3592,"date":"2013-06-17T02:25:57","date_gmt":"2013-06-17T09:25:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/moviesharkdeblore.com\/site\/?p=3592"},"modified":"2014-10-17T05:27:57","modified_gmt":"2014-10-17T12:27:57","slug":"forev-laff-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/behindthelensonline.net\/site\/reviews\/forev-laff-review\/","title":{"rendered":"FOREV (LAFF Review)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>By: debbie lynn elias<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-440\" src=\"http:\/\/behindthelensonline.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/forev-laff.jpg\" alt=\"forev - laff\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/behindthelensonline.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/forev-laff.jpg 400w, https:\/\/behindthelensonline.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/forev-laff-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A real charmer making it a \u201cMust See\u201d at Los Angeles Film Festival 2013 is FOREV.\u00a0 A contender in the Narrative Competition, FOREV comes to LAFF courtesy of Molly Green and James Leffler who make their feature film debut.\u00a0 Finding this film late in the game, after seeing it myself I can understand why LAFF programmer Maggie Mackay was so excited to have this included in the line-up.\u00a0 Described by Mackay as \u201ca real find\u201d, FOREV is incredibly funny.\u00a0 \u201c[A] Sweet, lovely, really scrappy little indie that was made with very little money but it looks great and the performances are great and the filmmakers are these really young enthusiastic filmmakers.\u00a0 They\u2019ve got comedic timing down so beautifully they don\u2019t feel like new filmmakers.\u00a0 They feel like old hat, really smart, fun, working in a genre that\u2019s really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A sweet and funny film with a touch of goofiness, Pete and Sophie are neighbors, or friends, or kinda friends but it\u2019s clear from the outset that the somewhat geeky Pete has more than friendship in mind with the adorable Sophie.\u00a0 Unfortunately, Sophie is oblivious to Pete\u2019s affection and interest in her, opting instead for one night stand pick-ups in bars.
