An exclusive interview with actor MILO GIBSON talking MANIFEST WEST, the craft of acting, family ties, and who’s the better director – his brother Louie or his dad Mel.
Written and directed by Louie Gibson (Milo’s brother) and Joe Dietsch, MANIFEST WEST is the coming-of-age thriller told through the eyes of a young girl whose family spirals out of control after they decide to live off the grid. Milo and his real-life sister-in-law Annet Mahendru star as Dave and Alice Hayes. Joining them are Lexy Kolker in a star-making turn, Madison Friedman, Michael Cudlitz, and Tim Heidecker.
After a career as an electrician, Milo shifted gears and poured his star-wattage into acting, cutting his acting chops under the direction of his father Mel Gibson in the Oscar-nominated “Hacksaw Ridge”, and then moving on to some noted performances in films like “The Tribes of Palos Verdes” “Gangster Land” where he played Al Capone, “Breaking & Exiting”, and a stellar turn in Rod Lurie’s “The Outpost.”
As to be expected, fun is had in this interview as we delve into MANIFEST WEST, the importance of location, rehearsal, the craft of acting, working with family, and more.
